Aid Runaway and Homeless Youth
Along with other faith organizations that are members of the Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice, UUWF signed on to a letter to our US Senators asking them to oppose an amendment to a piece of legislation intended to aid runaway and homeless youth who become victims of sex trafficking. If passed with this language, the proposed fund for assistance, paid for out of fines paid by convicted perpetrators, would prevent it being used to pay for abortions, except in limited circumstances.
